An engagement series regarding the future of LSR7’s middle school programs
As we’ve been releasing information about our Comprehensive Facilities Master Plan (CFMP) work teams that have been meeting throughout the spring and summer, we’ve also been working through recommendations with our Board of Education, our CFMP team and our Citizens’ Advisory Committee. We hope you’ve had time to review presentations and overview information from some of these teams.
We also want to provide another platform for our families, staff and community members to learn more about the middle school concept team ideas. With this, we invite our families, staff and community to attend an engagement series night:
Tuesday, September 17, 2019
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Missouri Innovation Campus
At this engagement event, we will review the Middle School Concept team ideas and provide more in-depth detail about the following items:
- Guiding Questions
What research, data and guiding questions did the team use to study middle school concepts?
What did the team consider as they looked at middle school concepts and programming?
What implications did the team review in regards to curriculum, programming, electives, extra-curricular activities, etc.?
The engagement event will provide personal opportunities for conversation with members of the Middle School Concept team (teachers, counselors, administrators, parents) as well as an opportunity to provide feedback to the district. We will specifically be seeking input on information that will continue to be helpful for our families, staff and community members.
We hope to see you at this engagement series event. Please know we value your partnership and collaboration as we continue moving forward in our Comprehensive Facilities Master Plan process.
