Comprehensive Facilities Master Plan – Release of Recommendations, Thoughtexchange and Engagement Series III

The Comprehensive Facilities Master Plan (CFMP) team has been analyzing all of the feedback we’ve gathered through our second engagement series. We’ve evaluated our second online survey, our in-person engagement series notes and our online feedback forms from each of the potential options.

On the CFMP webpage (www.lsr7.org/cfmp) you can now see our “Informal Solutions” online survey key takeaways and the in-person feedback from Engagement Series II. We’ve also posted the latest enrollment projection numbers, which are continuing to inform the phase one recommendations that will be released next week.

On Monday, November 19, we will be releasing phase one recommendations on our CFMP webpage. The recommendations will be on the webpage with an opportunity to provide online feedback similar to the online feedback form from our second engagement series. These recommendations will also be presented in-person during our community meetings the last week of November.

We will also be releasing our third opportunity for survey input through the release of a Thoughtexchange forum. The Thoughtexchange forum will allow families, staff and community members to respond to an open question and rate others’ thoughts. This forum will coincide with the release of our phase one recommendations and will run concurrently with our Engagement Series III.

As a reminder, our third engagement series dates and times are below:

Engagement Series III

6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

  • Tuesday, November 27 – Missouri Innovation Campus
  • Wednesday, November 28 – Missouri Innovation Campus
  • Thursday, November 29 – Missouri Innovation Campus

It has been important to us to release solutions around facilities and learning as well as potential boundary options to our staff, families and community so that you can review them prior to attending our engagement series. These recommendations have been refined based on our engagement efforts, staff and community input, data analysis, and CFMP team discussions.

Please stay tuned to our website on Monday, November 19, for the release of phase one recommendations and the start of our Thoughtexchange forum. We will also open the online feedback forms for each potential recommendation.

We are listening and making decisions based on the feedback we’re receiving. Your input is valuable and we will continue to shape our process and ideas around our community’s feedback.
