Immunizations offered by Jackson County Health Department at LSR7
The Jackson County Health Department will provide immunizations for middle and high school students from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 1 and Aug. 12 at the Stansberry Leadership Center.
Please note that the health department will not be able to provide elementary/kindergarten immunizations at these clinics.
This is an excellent opportunity for all the incoming 8th and 12th graders that still need required immunizations before the 2019-20 school year.
The Jackson County Health Department also wants to remind families that they can schedule appointments for students of all ages for free or low cost vaccinations this summer.
Most major insurances are accepted and there is no copay.
To schedule an appointment, call 816-404-6416. Patrons can also fill our registration forms before their appointments at www.jacohd.org/clinic.
The department is also working with the Sheriff’s Office to host a “Back to School” Bash for high school and middle school students to receive immunizations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 10, 2019 at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena, 19100 E. Valley View Parkway in Independence. People are encouraged to bring their insurance cards.
