LS R-7 Launches the League of Visionary Educators (L.O.V.E.)
What’s L.O.V.E. got to do with it?
LS R-7 is pleased to announce the launch of the League of Visionary Educators (L.O.V.E.). The League of Visionary Educators will be a group of teachers serving as the Superintendent’s visionary council. We asked teachers: Are you looking for opportunities to grow and sprint out ahead of the vision for our schools? Do you want to contribute to the vision of the Lee’s Summit School District and collaborate in purposeful conversation with the Superintendent?
Our teachers’ voices are important to the story of our schools and we are looking for those voices to make an impact.
Futurist Gerd Leonhard says we are in a digital transformation of exponential change. Are you driving change or are you being driven by it? And do you want to impact that change?
All current R-7 teachers who are passionate about our district’s growth and our district’s message are encouraged to apply. Do you want to influence the conversation in LS R-7? If so, this is the right forum for you. You’ll L.O.V.E. it!
For more information and to apply for the League, please visit the Superintendent’s webpage.
Additionally, will be launching a student advisory council to the Superintendent in the coming weeks. Students will design and brand their own council name and logo as part of their first semester project with Dr. Carpenter.
