LSHS hosts “Art Olympics,” a district-wide art competition
Art students from LSW, LSHS, and LSN had 90 minutes to create artwork on the spot in a district-wide competition last week at Lee’s Summit High School. The “Art Olympics” also included a “Manning Williams Best of Show Award” to honor recent LSHS retiree, Manning Williams, an art instructor at Lee’s Summit High for 32 years and the founder of the Art Olympics. Congratulations to all Art Olympics winners. Pictures is Best of Show winner, Vy Nguyen with Mr. Williams.
