LSR7 Journalism Student Receives National Recognition

Vy Nguyen, a senior at Lee’s Summit High School, earned second place nationally in the Fall Nationals competition through the Student Television Network.

Vy received the honor in the Show Open/Intro category for her work with Tiger Broadcast.

Mrs. Elaine McDonald is the broadcast and film adviser at Lee’s Summit High School.
