LSR7 Students Earn State Recognition for Book Trailer
Two LSR7 students earned first place statewide for creating a book trailer in a competition through the Missouri Association of School Librarians.
As students at Summit Pointe Elementary in the 2020-21 school year, Eli Copelin and Aaron Panto created a short promotional video for the graphic novel version of “The Crossover” by Kwame Alexander. The students drafted and revised the video, and their submission earned first place for the book in the Truman Readers Award nominee category. The students now attend Summit Lakes Middle School.
