Nancy Spatz, LSW technology specialist and robotics coach, is our February Learning for Life winner
Hundreds of young engineers, both current students and alumni, have one person in common: Nancy Spatz.
The Lee’s Summit West technology specialist and robotics coach and February Learning for Life winner plans and teaches STEM camps, supports tournaments, runs the LSW robotics program and fosters robotics programs across the district, including Trailridge Elementary’s.
“I personally know students that come back to the build site years after graduation to see her and thank her for the difference she made,” said her colleague.
The Learning for Life Award is presented to one employee each month and rotates between elementary certified, secondary certified and support staff. Winners are nominated by co-workers and selected by a team of employees.
Thank you, Ms. Spatz, for inspiring hundreds of bright young minds. We’re so grateful for you.
