R-7 middle schools recognize Students of the Month for April

Lee’s Summit R-7 School District middle schools recently recognized their April Students of the Month. Students of the Month are recognized based on outstanding citizenship, conduct, attitude and school involvement.

Students of the Month from Bernard Campbell Middle School are Skyler Stubblefield and Chris Fuller. At BCMS, Skyler is received the Be the Change Award. Away from school, Skyler enjoys ballet and soccer. At BCMS, Chris received the Be the Change Award.

Students of the Month from Pleasant Lea Middle School are Anna Murphy and Alex Benassi. At PLMS, Anna is involved in spelling bee, cross country, volleyball, musical, awards assembly, scholar bowl, band, choir, track and talent show. Away from school, Anna enjoys club soccer, voice lessons and her church youth group. At PLMS, Alex is involved in track, football, choir and basketball. Away from school, Alex enjoys basketball and football.    

Students of the Month from Summit Lakes Middle School are Molly Bruno and Brett Breshears. At SLMS, Molly is involved in cross country, track and received the Be the Change Award. Away from school, Molly enjoys soccer and church youth group. At SLMS, Brett is involved in choir, football, talent show and awards show. Away from school, Brett enjoys church activities and worship band.
