R-7 middle schools recognize Students of the Month for May

Lee’s Summit R-7 School District middle schools recently recognized their May Students of the Month. Students of the Month are recognized based on outstanding citizenship, conduct, attitude and school involvement.

Students of the Month from Bernard Campbell Middle School are Andrea David and Jude Carter. At BCMS, Andrea is involved in cross country and track. Away from school, Andrea enjoys dance classes. At BCMS, Judy is involved in cross country. Away from school, Judy enjoys baseball.

Students of the Month from Pleasant Lea Middle School are Kaylee King and Cole Myers. At PLMS, Kaylee is involved in basketball and the awards assembly. Away from school, Kaylee enjoys competitive softball. At PLMS, Cole is involved in track, cross country and robotics. Away from school, Cole enjoys hunting, fishing and competitive baseball.    

Students of the Month from Summit Lakes Middle School are Sydney Handel and Chase Bynum. At SLMS, Sydney is involved in Falcon Smart, cross country, basketball, volleyball, track and choir. Away from school, Sydney enjoys her soccer, volleyball and basketball teams. At SLMS, Chase is involved in jazz band, cross country and track and field. Away from school, Chase enjoys his soccer teams and church activities.
