Summit Technology Academy Open House Nov. 15

Summit Technology Academy (STA) is hosting open house events to give high school students the opportunity to explore educational options and career opportunities available through our robust course and program offerings. Students and families are welcome to attend one of three open houses on November 15, January 10 or February 7, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Missouri Innovation Campus, 1101 NW Innovation Parkway, Lee’s Summit, MO 64086. RSVPs are welcomed but not required.

Summit Technology Academy, operated by the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District, offers programs in software development, cyber security, network engineering, allied health, professional nursing, biomedical science, digital media, aerospace, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, teacher preparation, hospitality management and international studies. STA is designed to provide career-focused programs, state-of-the-art classrooms, real-world experience and dual college credit. The open houses encompass special breakout sessions covering the following programs:

  • International Baccalaureate Career-Related Program (IBCP)
  • Cerner Scholars Program
  • KU Degree in 3
  • UCM Nursing Fast Track
  • Early Planners
