Summer Programs

    • Elementary Summer Learning Institute (SLI)
Elementary Summer Learning Institute 2021 will occur at nine sites throughout the district and will run four days a week from June 1-July 1.  (Note that the first week is Tuesday-Friday; remaining weeks are Monday-Thursday.)  Elementary SLI  offers an opportunity for students to participate in two summer learning courses, either in person or online.  For those students who require additional support in the form of extended school year and/or recovery courses, two courses will provide them with a chance to participate in both a recovery course and an enrichment course, while others will enroll in two enrichment courses.  Each elementary day will be divided into two sessions, with one session containing the daily lunch break, which will be provided free of charge.  Incoming kindergarten students will be attending the full six-hour day, which will include a rest time.  In addition, LSR7 will be making transportation available for students in non-Title I schools from strategically-located sites throughout the district. Enrollment will open on April 19th at 8:00 a.m. and will be accessible through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.  Enrollment will close at 3:00 p.m. on April 30th.  For the SLI Course Catalog, please click on the link.  For more information, see the SLI 2021 Flyer.
