Summer Programs

    • Elementary Summer School
    • Elementary Summer Learning Institute will offer enrichment courses at six sites in June, with online enrollment opening April 5, 2018. The course catalog can be viewed here. You may enroll at this link.
    • Secondary Summer School
    • The R-7 Secondary Summer School Program is a program for middle school and high school students.
    • Summit Music Camps
    • The Summit Music Camps are one-week sessions of music instruction during the summer for elementary band and string students.
    • Driver’s Education
    • The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District offers driver’s education during the summer. The course includes classroom lessons as well as hands-on driving with a qualified instructor. Students must pay a course fee for this summer class.
    • Swimming Lessons
    • The Lee’s Summit R-7 Aquatic Center offers swimming lessons during the summer.
    • Sports Camps
    • Information on summer sports camps can be found on the high schools’ websites, on the district flyers page or by calling the high schools.
